What is Digitalisation of TACs (Digi-TAC) Programme?

The Digitalisation of Trade Associations and Chambers (Digi-TAC) Programme, jointly spearheaded by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and SGTech, serves as a driving force in empowering Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) to embrace digital transformation at their core.

Digi- TAC Programme Details

Claim Up to 70% off JustLogin solutions!

Our pre-approved solution package empowers Trade Associations to embrace digital transformation. The grant covers 70% of costs for the first year, up to a cap of $30,000 annually and a total of $60,000 over 3 years.

Digi - TAC will support TACs in two areas:

(a) Adoption of digital solutions to improve and boost capabilities in key corporate functions; and

(b) Training of TAC secretariat staff to equip them with foundational digital capabilities to enable them to support their respective industries and members. 

To make this transition easy for TACs, a list of pre-approved solutions and training courses will be curated. The solutions are assessed to be market-proven, cost-effective, and supported by reliable vendors. Eligible TACs can tap on Digi-TAC for funding support to offset the costs of adopting these pre-approved digital solutions and training courses, up to a prevailing grant cap per TAC.

Digi-TAC Start Digital Eligibility

You can apply for Digi-TAC if you meet the following criteria:

  1. Must be a Trade Association or Chamber of Commerce registered with the Registry of Societies or ACRA;
  2. Must represent the business interests of a trade(s) or industry sector(s) whose members are operating in or from Singapore;
  3. Has a Management Committee or Board or Council overseeing the activities of the TAC;
  4. Operating full-time from Singapore in a proper office set-up located in a commercial building or equivalent and has a local telephone number;
  5. Has at least three full-time salaried employees working in the TAC;
  6. Has at least 50 members with at least 75% of them being SMEs;
  7. Has not obtained other funding from government agencies for a similar project; and
  8. Has not installed up-to-date equipment and/or solutions for the digital capabilities that TAC is applying for support under this programme within the past three (3) years.

Getting Started with Digi-TAC

  • Begin your Digi-TAC journey by connecting with your pre-approved tech companion, JustLogin, for a swift price estimate, followed by the submission of your online application form here

Waiting Time – What to expect?

  • Upon receiving all required documents, the processing time for the Digi-TAC application is estimated to be around one month.

What’s the next step after approval?

  • If your application is approved:

    1. SBF will email you the Letter of Offer which will include key details of your project.
    2. Upon receiving your Letter of Offer, you will need to send SBF your signed Letter of Acceptance which will be attached at the end of your Letter of Offer.
    3. Once SBF has received your signed Letter of Acceptance, you may embark on your Digi-TAC project with JustLogin.

Final step: Claim submission with Digi – TAC

As you make progress, it’s time to submit your claim. Here’s how:

  1. Financial Transparency: Provide proof of payment, indicating at least 30% of the adoption cost has been paid to JustLogin.

  2. Intellectual Empowerment: Present evidence of attendance at the pre-approved digital training courses of JustLogin. Ensure that at least two of your secretariat staff have enriched their digital skills.

  3. Seal the Deal: Include a project sign-off document, a simple written declaration certifying the satisfactory completion of your Digi-TAC project.
