1. Leave Type Approval Workflows: Tailor Approvals by Leave Type 

Before, every leave request followed the same approval process. This “one-size-fits-all” method often doesn’t reflect how different leave types need different handling. 

Now, you can configure custom approval flows for each leave type. For example, medical leave may require HR and manager approval, while annual leave may only need a manager’s sign-off. 

How to set it up: 
Go to Settings > Company Settings > Approvals. You’ll see all leave types configured for your company and can assign a specific approval route to each. 

Why it matters: 
This flexibility ensures your leave management reflects your company’s unique policies automatically routing requests through the right channels and reducing manual follow-up. 

2. Enhanced Import Pay Elements: Mix and Match Import Settings 

Previously, you faced limits when importing pay elements. Option 1: It allowed removing blank or zero values, while Option 2: It imported race-based elements automatically, but you couldn’t do both together. 

Now, we’ve separated these options so you can use any combination of import settings regardless of which option you choose. 

Why it matters: 
This gives you maximum control over your payroll imports, letting you tailor the process to your exact needs and avoiding errors or unnecessary cleanup. 

3. Manager Assignment and Org Chart Revamp: Clearer Structure Across Entities 

If your company operates multiple entities or business units, managing reporting lines across them can get complex. Now, you can assign managers across entities, and the org chart visually distinguishes teams by their entity, making reporting lines clear at a glance. 

Why it matters: 
It reduces confusion and improves administration, especially in organisations with teams spread across divisions, regions, or subsidiaries. 

4. Hide or Show the Happiness Widget: Control Your Dashboard Layout 

Different teams and users have different preferences for dashboard appearance. You can now hide or show the Happiness Widget directly from the dashboard, no need to navigate through deep settings menus. 

Why it matters: 
This small update gives you more control over your workspace, allowing you to focus on the tools and information that matters most. 

5. Company File Management: Organise, Share, and Track Documents with Ease 

Uploading files is just the start. You also need to control who sees them and confirm they’ve been read. Our new file management system lets you: 

• Upload and organise files into folders 

• Set visibility by department, individual, or company-wide 

• Track employee acknowledgements when files are viewed

No more chasing down confirmations or guessing who has seen important updates. This feature reduces admin and improves compliance with clear access controls and acknowledgement tracking.
